If you like the whole “everyone thinks girl is the Chosen One, but she knows she isn’t” storyline, there’s a book I loved when I was fourteen, “The Witch, the Wizard, and the Two Girls from Jersey.” But this one revolves around the friendship between the titular two girls, one of whom is Hispanic.

That sounds pretty sweet! I’ll have to add it to my “to hunt around for” list. Thanks!

I wonder if Nova is going to be like the Faun from Pan’s Labyrinth. That “can you trust him?” Because that movie kind of left it open if she actually completed the quest or not.

I shall write a book titled X of X and X! You will read it because the title is catchy.

She’s even Chinese! I can see that Ash book going so wrong with regards to that.

Did I win again by being the only one?
Yeah sending them 3 or 5 or whatever a box is cool. A random box with ARCs in it every three months… my BoxCrate! No no… BookARC! It sails into my door!
Maybe I’ll do an unboxing like LootCrates with my phone or my webcam.

Hahaha oh! You should do a BookARC unboxing. 😀 I would watch, just to hear your groans of agony… I mean JOY!

With Labyrinth lost, the MC is apparently bisexual from what I’ve looked on reviews. I’m willing to read it and report back to you guys!!

Do the thing!! Yeah, I’m pretty sure that the MC is bisexual, and leaning towards female love interest. Would definitely be interested to hear how it goes.

So I read Labyrinth Lost and it was good, but it felt more like a cartoon story than anything else. I loved that her family was automatically accepting at the end that her love interest was a girl, and her best friend at that. It was an interesting read and I’m willing to give the next books in the series a try, but it’s not the best. There could be more done to make it more exciting, especially with writing the action scenes and trying (I say trying because I felt no urgency or any worry that things wouldn’t work out) to make it suspenseful.
